White gesso primer for canvas, paper and wood
Zart Gesso, supplier code PT419, is a white primer from The Creative School Supply Company that gives a smooth base for painting on canvas, paper, wood and other surfaces.
The Creative School Supply Company describes Zart Gesso as a primer that provides a smooth, white base for artists working on a variety of surfaces. It lists it for preparing canvases, paper, wood and other materials, and says its priming formula creates a smooth, even surface for acrylics, oils and other mediums, improving paint adhesion and colour vibrancy.
The supplier says the gesso dries quickly, so painting can begin without long delays. Primed wood, paper or canvas then has the smooth, white base the supplier describes, and Zart lists the gesso for classrooms, studios and large-scale projects alike.
Zart floating box canvases, canvas boards and wide flat brushes are listed separately for the next step after priming. Browse craft paints, painting supplies, art and craft supplies, art paper and canvas and Zart.
