A large square canvas for senior folio pieces
The Zart Floating Wooden Box Canvas, supplier code CV756, is a 76.2 x 76.2cm (30 x 30 inch) cotton duck canvas fitted to a natural pine wood frame that sits flush against the canvas edge.
Zart aims the Floating Wooden Box Canvas at aspiring art students and seasoned artists, and names upper secondary folio work, school art shows, home and studio use. A 76.2cm square gives room for a major folio piece or a bold display work. The 100% cotton duck canvas is triple primed with acid free Gesso, which Zart says helps work last for years.
The canvas lifts out of the frame, which helps with a piece this size. Lay it face down, lift the canvas out, paint, then refit the frame with the included screws and pre-drilled holes. Zart lists oil and acrylic paint, spray paint and oil stick for the surface.
Other drawing media also suit the primed surface, according to Zart. Look through artists easels for a floor stand, painting supplies for paint and Gesso, and the art paper and canvas and Zart ranges for other sizes.
