A floating box canvas with a pine frame you fit after painting
The Zart Floating Wooden Box Canvas 50.8 x 76.2cm (20 x 30"), supplier code CV755, pairs a 100% cotton duck canvas with a natural pine wood frame, from The Creative School Supply Company.
The Creative School Supply Company describes the natural pine wood frame as sitting flush against the canvas edge. The 100% cotton duck canvas is triple primed with acid free Gesso, and the supplier lists the surface for oil and acrylic paint, spray paint, oil stick and other drawing media. It names upper secondary folio work, school art shows, home and studio use.
The frame comes off for painting: the supplier says to lay the frame and canvas face down and lift the canvas out. Once the painting is finished, fasten the frame back on with the included screws and pre-drilled screw holes, leaving the canvas set in its floating pine frame.
Other sizes of the Zart floating box canvas, from 20.3 x 20.3cm upwards, are listed separately, along with Zart gesso. Browse art paper and canvas, painting supplies, art and craft supplies and Zart.
