A compact primed canvas board for small paintings
The Zart Canvas Board 6 x 8 inch, supplier code CB106, is a primed cotton canvas board with a paper backing from The Creative School Supply Company, ready for oil or acrylic paint.
The supplier describes these boards as primed cotton canvas with a paper backing, ready to paint with oil or acrylic paints. The canvas board range runs from 6 x 8 up to 20 x 24 inch, with 8 x 10, 10 x 12, 12 x 16, 14 x 18 and 16 x 20 in between. This listing is the 6 x 8 inch board, the smallest size in that run.
Because the cotton surface arrives primed, painting can start straight away without a coat of gesso first. The 6 x 8 inch format keeps a painting small, which suits colour tests, practice pieces and short studies in either oil or acrylic.
For a bigger surface, the 8 x 10 and 10 x 12 inch boards sit next in the range. Browse canvas boards, art paper and canvas, painting supplies and the full Zart range.
