A 14 x 18 inch canvas board for larger paintings
The Zart Canvas Board 14 x 18 inch, supplier code CB114, is a paper backed board of primed cotton canvas from The Creative School Supply Company, ready for oil or acrylic paints.
The Creative School Supply Company describes the board as primed cotton canvas with a paper backing, ready to paint with oil or acrylic paints. The same board comes in sizes from 6 x 8 up to 20 x 24 inch. At 14 x 18 inch, this one is among the larger boards, with only the 16 x 20 and 20 x 24 inch sizes above it.
A 14 x 18 inch surface gives painters space to work at a bigger scale, block in large areas of colour and build up layers. Because the board is already primed, the first coat of oil or acrylic can go straight onto the cotton surface.
A sturdy easel helps when working at this size. Smaller and larger boards from the range are listed separately. Browse canvas boards, art paper and canvas, painting supplies and the full Zart range.
