More room to paint on a 12 x 16 inch board
The Zart Canvas Board 12 x 16 inch, supplier code CB112, is a primed cotton canvas board backed with paper, supplied by The Creative School Supply Company for oil or acrylic painting.
The supplier sums up the boards simply: primed cotton canvas boards with paper backing, ready to paint with oil or acrylic paints. Sizes in the range run from 6 x 8 to 20 x 24 inch. This 12 x 16 inch board is the middle size of the range, bigger than the 10 x 12 inch board and smaller than the 14 x 18 inch.
Moving up to 12 x 16 inch gives space for larger shapes, broader brushwork and more detail in one painting. The board comes primed, so students and hobby painters can begin with oil or acrylic colour straight away rather than preparing the surface.
A table easel holds the board at a working angle. The 14 x 18 and 16 x 20 inch boards suit bigger work. Browse canvas boards, painting supplies, art paper and canvas and the full Zart range.
