A larger black gesso board for oil and acrylic
The Zart Canvas Board 10 x 12 Inch Black, supplier code CB098, is a pre-primed black gesso canvas board supplied by The Creative School Supply Company for painting in oil or acrylic.
The Creative School Supply Company lists this as a pre-primed black gesso canvas board, suitable for oil and acrylic paint. The black board comes in 6 x 8 and 10 x 12 inch sizes, and this listing is the larger 10 x 12 inch board. A white primed canvas board in the same 10 x 12 inch size is listed separately.
Starting on black gesso means the dark ground is already in place, so light and bright colours can go straight on without painting a background first. The 10 x 12 inch size leaves more room for a full composition than the smaller black board.
Pair it with the 6 x 8 inch black board, listed separately, for smaller studies, or a white primed board in the same size. Browse canvas boards, art paper and canvas, painting accessories and the full Zart range.
