A tall beechwood A-frame easel for canvas and board
The Zart Beechwood A-Frame Easel 174cm, supplier code DP025, is a triangular A-frame easel made of sturdy beechwood that holds a canvas or board up to 126cm in size.
The Creative School Supply Company lists the easel at 68cm depth x 63cm width x 174cm height. It describes a triangular shaped easel with a sliding ratchet action, made of sturdy beechwood. The easel is supplied not assembled, so it needs putting together before use, and the supplier gives the maximum canvas or board size as 126cm.
Standing at 174cm, the A-frame suits painting upright at an easel rather than flat on a table. Holding work up to 126cm, it takes larger canvases and boards for senior painting, studio work and demonstrations, and its beechwood frame is described by the supplier as sturdy.
Allow time to assemble it before the first lesson, since the supplier lists it as not assembled. Compare artists easels, find surfaces in art paper and canvas and canvas boards, or browse the Zart range.
