The Connoisseur 754220 solid spoon is a 305 mm black serving spoon with an unbroken oval bowl, so it carries gravy, curry and custard as well as rice and vegetables.
Without slots the bowl holds liquid, which makes it the spoon to stir a sauce, baste a roast or portion a casserole onto a plate. The bowl is deep enough to measure out a consistent serve at a buffet or bain-marie, and the long handle reaches the bottom of a hotel pan.
It is the plain partner to the 754218 slotted spoon in Weatherdon's black non-stick group, and the pair often hang together on a rail by the stove.
