A Long Serrated Blade for Roasts, Loaves and Buffet Carving
The Connoisseur 7524003 carving knife has a narrow 205 mm serrated stainless steel blade and a black three-rivet handle, made for slicing through a crust or a roast without crushing it.
Weatherdon describe a full tang stainless steel blade, meaning the steel runs back into the handle between the rivets. The blade on this one is long and slim with a gently rising tip, which is the shape you want for drawing the knife through a ham, a rolled roast or a sourdough loaf in long strokes.
It is a good fit for a carvery station, a staff kitchen that slices its own bread, or a function room putting out platters. The Connoisseur logo is marked on the blade.
Weatherdon's knife care sheet is attached below as a download. It recommends hand washing and drying straight away, and warns that a dishwasher can split the handle or rust the blade.
