Connoisseur 52010 is a white reinforced porcelain sachet holder from the A-La-Carte range, measuring 117 x 77 x 55 mm, that keeps sugar, sweetener and tea bags in one neat block on a cafe table or hotel tea tray. It comes in a pack of 12, enough to set a dozen tables.
The holder is a small open rectangular dish with straight sides, deep enough to stand sachets on their edge so guests can flick through and pick the one they want. Weatherdon's photo shows it filled with tea bag envelopes and sugar sachets, the typical load at a breakfast table or meeting room coffee station.
Unlike most of the A-La-Carte range, Weatherdon rate this holder for the oven too, alongside microwave and dishwasher use, so it can go through the same cleaning cycle as the cups and plates it sits beside. In plain white it blends with the A-La-Carte cups, saucers and milk jug.
