A Simple Washing Up Brush, Bought by the Dozen
Compass 753003 is a 300 mm plastic dish brush with thick nylon bristles and a hanging loop, sold in a pack of 12 so every sink, kitchenette and apartment can have its own.
The long handle keeps hands further from hot water, and the angled head reaches into mugs, bowls and the corners of pots. Weatherdon describe the bristles as thick nylon, which gives a firmer scrub than a sponge on baked-on residue.
At the end of the handle is what Weatherdon call a redesigned hanging hook: a loop that lets the brush hang on a rail or cup hook to drain between uses instead of sitting wet in the sink. The handle is blue and the head black, a combination that stands out on a bench.
A dozen at a time suits serviced apartments, staff kitchens and holiday parks that put a fresh brush into each unit at changeover.
