Zions VTED is a 64 page pocket vehicle log book, 180 x 110mm, that adds a travel diary, a business expenses record and an expenses summary to the usual trip log.
People who drive for work often travel for work too, and the paperwork for both tends to end up in different places. VTED keeps it together. The log pages have a Car No. line and columns for the start and end date of each journey, its purpose, odometer readings at start and end, and kilometres split into business and private, with a progressive total at the foot.
The travel record opens with the trip description, traveller name, reason for the trip, position held, start and finish dates and the relationship to the traveller where that applies, then lists each place, the activity or itinerary, when it started and how long it took. Expense pages take the currency and income year, then the date incurred, date the document was made out, supplier, goods or services, amount, GST and a reference number. Employee and employer details boxes sit on the last page. A line printed on the front reads that it complies with Australian Taxation Office substantiation requirements.
