Zions VLER is a soft cover pocket vehicle log book with added expense sections: 64 pages at 180 x 110mm covering trips, vehicle costs and business costs.
Zions describe it as their pocket vehicle log book with extra sections for expense records. Up front are the trip pages, with a Car No. line, journey start and end dates, purpose, odometer readings and kilometres split between business and private. Behind them come a Vehicle Expenses Record and a Business Expenses Record, each headed with the tax year and ruled for the date the expense was incurred, the date the document was made out, the supplier, the goods or services, the amount, GST and a reference number.
Zions list vehicle and business expenses summaries as well. The Business Expenses Summary in our photos runs month by month from July to June, with columns for accommodation, sustenance, parking and tolls, spare columns, totals and GST, which makes the year end tally quicker. On the cover, Zions print that VLER complies with Australian Taxation Office substantiation requirements.
