Trips And Running Costs Side By Side On Every Page
Zions VLB is a full size vehicle log book, 190 x 250mm with 72 soft covered pages, where each page records business trips and operating expenses together.
Where the pocket books split trips and costs into separate sections, this one puts them on the same line. On the left of the page you log when the journey began and finished, why it was made, both odometer figures and how many of the kilometres were business or private. On the right you enter running costs, from when each was incurred and when its document was made out, through the supplier and what was bought, to the amount, GST and a reference, with running totals at the bottom. A Page No. and Car No. sit at the top, and Zions quote 18 lines per page.
The larger page is easier to write on at a desk or on a clipboard, so VLB suits an office that keeps the logbook for a pool car or a small fleet. Zions state that it fully complies with Australian Tax Office substantiation requirements, and the cover says the same.
