Zions PC301 is a box of 20 disposable P1 respirators with no exhalation valve, listed by The Note Group for use with dust and mist.
Sweeping out a shed, sanding timber by hand, cutting insulation or spraying water based products in the open all raise particles that nobody wants to breathe. A P1 moulded cup mask is the everyday choice for that kind of task, and a box of 20 lets a small crew start each day with a fresh one.
The Note Group state the respirator is P1 certified to AS/NZS 1716:2012 Respiratory Protective Devices. The cup is moulded to hold its shape, the two elastic straps are latex free, and the box notes it is staple free and easily worn with glasses and goggles. Fitting steps are printed on the side panel.
Whether P1 is enough depends on the hazard. Your risk assessment or safety adviser decides the class, and a P2 mask covers a wider range.
