Zions 30AB is a bound Time Sheet Book for shop employees, where each day of the week records the morning start, lunch and tea breaks and the finish, with a checked by column after every entry.
The weekly sheet is built around the rhythm of a retail or workshop day. Days 1st to 7th run down the side, and the columns across record morning start, lunch leave, lunch return, tea leave, tea return and finish. A supervisor initials each time in the checked by column beside it, and the ordinary and overtime hours worked for the day go at the end of the row.
Below the grid are lines for total ordinary and overtime hours with rates, allowances for board and lodging or tea money, two deduction lines and the total payment, plus the employer super contribution and the fund it goes to. A side panel covers age and experience details where an award rate depends on them, and apprentice details. Zions print a reminder on the form: pen, not pencil, written up daily, with the sheets kept at the place of business.
