Zions 26 is the medium Time, Pay and Wages Book, a hard cover register printed for up to 26 employees that follows each person from their daily start and stop times all the way to the wage they sign for.
Every employee is given their own page, and The Note Group describe it as 1 page per employee per half year with 27 lines per page. Each weekly line runs across starting and stopping times for day 1 to day 7, then ordinary and overtime totals with rates and amounts, allowances and gross wages.
To the right sit tax and other deductions, net wages paid, the employer super contribution and a column where the employee signs for the hours worked and for receiving their pay. The page header holds the award or agreement, classification, terms of employment and the employee start and finish dates, so the book doubles as a basic employment record. The Note Group give the size as 290mm x 290mm, a square format that opens wide on a desk.
