Tall Narrow Cells For Setting Out Numbers
Writer Premium EB6528 is an A4 primary grid book with 48 pages of 70gsm paper ruled in cells 10mm high and 5mm wide.
A primary grid is not a square grid. The Note Group drawing labelled Primary Grid shows each cell twice as tall as it is wide, so a young writer has height for a full sized numeral while the narrow width keeps digits lined up in place value columns. That layout suits early addition and subtraction where tens and ones must sit in the right place.
The green cover prints A4 Primary Grid Book with 70gsm paper and 10mm x 5mm grid, and a paint brush marks the Teacher's Reference. Addition and multiplication tables fill the back cover, above the barcode and Made in Malaysia.
Square grid books live in our grid books collection. There is more in the Writer Premium range, and our educational exercise books cover the other rulings on a booklist.
