Six faces that help children talk about feelings
Educational Colours Wooden Dough Stamps Emotions, supplier code EVEWSEMO, are six wooden stamps showing different expressions, crafted by Educational Colours for little hands to use in dough, clay or sand.
The six expressions are happy, sad, angry, surprised, worried and scared. Educational Colours presents the set as a way for children to deepen their understanding of different emotions while they play. The brand says this encourages self-awareness and the ability to express feelings, which gives a teacher an easy opening to talk about how each face feels.
Educational Colours describes the stamps as an addition to sensory play that makes dough, clay or sand activities more engaging. The brand states tactile play with them can help children build fine motor skills. Children can also combine the faces to create their own patterns and designs.
Other themes in the Wooden Dough Stamps range are listed separately. Browse more in our craft and modelling clay, sensory toys and educational supplies ranges, or see the wider Educational Colours collection.
