Australian animal shapes to press into dough
Educational Colours Wooden Dough Stamps Animals, supplier code EVEWSAUS, is a set of six wooden stamps featuring a kookaburra, echidna, platypus, koala, kangaroo and wombat, for pressing shapes into dough, clay or sand.
Educational Colours says these stamps have been thoughtfully crafted for little hands, and calls them an excellent addition to sensory play with dough, clay or sand. This listing is the Animals set of six stamps. Educational Colours says the set lets children engage in sensory play while connecting with the cultural heritage of the land on which they live.
Educational Colours says tactile play with the stamps can help children enhance their fine motor skills and their ability to grasp and manipulate objects. Children can press a koala, kangaroo or wombat into a dough slab and talk about where each animal lives. The brand adds that the stamps can create unique patterns and designs.
The Animals set is one of several Wooden Dough Stamps themes, and Bugs, Dinosaurs and Farm are listed separately. Browse modelling clay, early learning and sensory, sensory toys and the Educational Colours range.
