A pack of 12 olive-shaped PVC massage balls, 5cm across and 11.5cm long. About $5.83 each.
The olive shape is doing real work. A round ball can only be held one way; an olive can be gripped with five fingers, three fingers, or pinched between two - and each of those is a different exercise. WePlay build the product around that progression, from whole-hand gripping down to a two-finger pinch and release.
Twelve is the number that makes this a class resource rather than a therapy tool. One each for a group of twelve means the whole class does the same activity at once, which is the difference between a rotation and a lesson.
The second use is body massage - rolling the ball along arms, back or legs for tactile input and calming. It is the same reason the textured sensory balls sit in this range.
Age rating is not published. WePlay do not state one for this pack. At 5 x 11.5cm they are well clear of the small-parts range, but supervise as you would any shared classroom resource.
