The Connoisseur Classic 52000 is a straight-sided 350 ml mug in warm white new bone china, the no-fuss everyday shape for staff kitchens and hotel rooms, sold here in a pack of 6.
Weatherdon have updated this mug to a warm white colour with the high gloss finish they describe as typical of Connoisseur crockery. If you are topping up older stock, expect the new mugs to look a touch warmer than bright white ones bought a few years ago.
The body is a simple cylinder, 100 mm tall, with a generous C-shaped handle and the Connoisseur logo on the base. It handles sudden temperature changes and is fine in the microwave and dishwasher on Weatherdon's listing, so it can go from the urn to the microwave to the dishwasher without fuss.
