The Uni PWE-3MS is a single white liquid chalk marker with a 0.9 to 1.3mm fine bullet tip, built for detailed sign writing on chalkboards, glass and other non-porous surfaces.
Most chalk markers in a cafe drawer are 2.5mm or 8mm, which is fine for a headline and hopeless for the line underneath it. This is the narrow one. At 0.9 to 1.3mm it holds a legible small capital, so the prices, the allergen notes and the flourish around the edge of a board all fit without turning into a smudge.
Uni describe the marker as writing on and wiping off, which makes it suited to non-porous surfaces such as chalkboards and glass, and they call it rain-resistant so a message can withstand the elements within reason. They also state it is not suitable for porous surfaces.
Sitting alongside the rest of the liquid chalk markers and the glassboard markers, it is a regular on the order sheets for cafe and restaurant supplies and retail shop supplies.
