The TraumaSim Haemostatic Clotting Trainer lets trainees practise wound packing and haemostatic dressing application on a realistic gunshot wound simulation. The rounded unit reflects the natural curve of the human body - arm or thigh - and bleeding is controlled via a 500ml squeezy bottle. Pulse the bottle to simulate an arterial bleed, with flow adjusted by pressure applied. Ben Nye Stage Blood diluted 1 part blood to 3 parts water is recommended.
Each unit includes a 500ml squeezy bottle, 125ml stage blood, and a user guide. After training, simply wash, dry, and store for repeated use. Dimensions: 30 x 22 x 5 cm. Weight: 1.18 kg.
