Realistic finger wound glove simulator for exposed bone injury trauma training
The TRAUMASIM Finger Glove Exposed Bone Injury is a wearable silicone finger glove simulation appliance depicting an exposed bone injury, providing a realistic training wound for practising haemorrhage control, wound packing, and patient management in the context of open fracture and degloving finger injuries in trauma training and casualty simulation programmes.
Open fractures with exposed bone are among the most visually confronting injuries first responders encounter - they require calm assessment, haemorrhage control, wound protection, and immobilisation skills that differ from standard laceration management. The glove format allows the instructor to apply the simulation wound to any participant's finger for a realistic hands-on training experience, providing tactile fidelity for practising wound packing, covering, and splinting around an exposed bone presentation without the clinical exposure of actual patient care.
For use with TRAUMASIM casualty simulation programmes and instructor-led trauma training. Wearable glove format for immersive participant experience.
Suitable for open fracture and exposed bone injury trauma training, casualty simulation exercises requiring digit injury presentations, instructor-led haemorrhage control skills training with realistic wound simulation, and any trauma programme requiring realistic finger wound simulation.
