A 20 minute visual timer for short blocks of time
The Time Timer PLUS 20 Minute, supplier code TT1020, is a visual timer with a 20 minute dial, designed to give a greater visual impact for shorter tasks and activities.
Educational Vantage lists uses such as completing blocks of homework, homeschool learning sessions, silent reading and instrument or sports practice, along with 15 to 20 minute activities for children at home. The supplier also suggests it for workplace meetings with 15 and 20 minute agenda items, and for starting an organising project at home.
When an hour is more time than a task needs, a 20 minute dial makes it easier to see how quickly that time will pass. The supplier says this helps children in particular, and that the PLUS 20 Minute brings the features of the Time Timer visual timers into a shorter format.
It also suits a home study desk. Use it for reading blocks, practice sessions and short meetings. Browse classroom organisation, teacher resources and classroom supplies for more tools that keep the day on track.
