Forty times to match in analogue and digital formats
Learning Can Be Fun Tell the Time Dominoes, supplier code EVLTDO, is a dominoes game featuring 40 different times shown in both digital and analogue formats.
Learning Can Be Fun explains that recognising time in both digital and analogue formats helps young children develop early numeracy skills. Young learners practise telling the time through play-based learning as they match the times and connect the dominoes. The supplier lists the set as 40 dominoes with 40 digital and analogue times, plus an activity guide.
Each match asks children to read a time in one format and find the same time shown in the other format on a domino. The dominoes format is quick to learn, and the activity guide offers adults extra ways to use the pieces.
For a group game on the same topic, Tell the Time Bingo is listed separately in the range. Find the Learning Can Be Fun range, more educational games, maths equipment and teacher resources.
