Eighteen Noris Junior Colours Including Gold And Silver
Staedtler Noris junior 224 C18 is the largest box of the chunky toddler crayon: 18 colours, with white, gold and silver alongside the brights.
The extra six shades over the 12 colour box are white, gold, silver, cobalt blue, turquoise and red violet. White shows up on dark paper and works for snow and clouds, while gold and silver are popular for crowns, stars and festive drawings.
Each crayon is the same Noris junior 224 format: compact, about 14 mm, hexagonal so it does not roll off the table, and wrapped in paper. Staedtler describe it as the ideal first wax crayon for large areas and say it is suitable for a wide range of painting techniques. The range runs to 20 colours in total.
Staedtler state that the 224 conforms to EN 71; the pack shows a 2+ age mark. A larger set suits families with siblings sharing, or a childcare room that wants more than the basics.
