Peppa Pig Crayons With Character Colour Names
Staedtler Noris junior 224 C12 L1 is a Peppa Pig box of 12 chunky wax crayons plus a spatula, with each colour named after a character or a scene from the show.
Staedtler give the colours playful names: sunny yellow, Mummy Pig orange, Peppa Pig red, Granny Pig pink, Grandpa Pig purple, George blue, blue sky, Daddy Pig turquoise, green grass, green tree, muddy puddle brown and black night. Fans can colour Peppa and her family in the right shades without guessing.
Underneath the Peppa wraps it is the Noris junior 224 crayon: compact, hexagonal so it will not roll off the table, and about 14 mm thick. Staedtler say even toddlers can draw soft strokes on paper with little effort and colour big areas.
The spatula is there for techniques such as sgraffito, where layers of wax are scratched back, and encaustic, both named by Staedtler. The 224 conforms to EN 71 according to Staedtler, and the box shows a 2+ age mark.
