Red, Yellow, Blue and Green Tubs of Soft Play Dough
Staedtler 813 SLE is a sleeve of four Noris junior modelling dough tubs, one each in red, yellow, blue and green.
Staedtler call the dough exceptionally soft and clean and say it does not stick. Small hands can knead it, cut it, squeeze it, roll it out and blend colours together, and it suits many modelling tools, so the plastic knife, rolling pin and cutters already in the toy box all get used. Staedtler pitch it as a way for children to develop a feeling for shape and colour through play.
The current Staedtler pack points out that cookie cutter shapes are built into the cup and lid, so there is something to press out from the very first session. Every tub has a clear lid and is printed 2+, matching the mark on the outer sleeve.
Red, yellow and blue plus a green give children a basic palette to model with and to blend. For brighter shades, the same dough comes as the neon 813F SLE. See modelling clay and dough, educational craft supplies and the Staedtler range.
