Twelve Natural Wood Coloured Pencils for the Pencil Case
Staedtler 143N C12 is a box of 12 Noris natural coloured pencils, the core colours of the range in unpainted hexagonal barrels that fit any school pencil case.
Staedtler list the twelve as 1 yellow, 4 orange, 2 red, 20 pink, 61 red violet, 3 blue, 30 pale blue, 5 green, 50 light green, 43 peach, 76 brown and 9 black. That covers a primary booklist: sky and sea, two greens for grass and leaves, peach and brown for people, black for outlines.
Staedtler call it a high quality pencil with a hexagonal barrel and natural finish that resists breaking, and the page for this box states conformity with EN 71, the European toy safety standard. The current box shows a fantasy meadow of mushrooms drawn in coloured pencil behind a hexagon window.
If a student needs more shades, the 24 box adds white, light grey, olive, turquoise and more; for classroom sharing there is a cup of 108.
