Mid-Size Black Felt Pad For Everyday Rubber Stamps
Shiny 9SP-2F-9 is a black felt stamp pad listed at 88 mm x 57 mm, the middle of three Shiny sizes, with Staedtler as the Australian distributor.
The mid size suits the typical desk rubber stamp: a company name, a FILE COPY message or a die-plate dater. It gives more working room than the compact pad while staying small enough to share a drawer with the stamps it serves.
Staedtler class the Shiny pads as suitable for normal or oil based ink. To refresh the felt, add Shiny oil based 9S1-61 premium or water based 9S61 supreme ink a little at a time, then press the stamp on scrap paper to check the result.
The 88 x 57 mm figure is Staedtler listed size; they do not say whether it measures the felt or the case.
