AIR MAIL In Red Outline Capitals
Shiny's 9SEN006-2 pre-inked stamp prints AIR MAIL in red outline capitals, a clear handling mark for overseas letters and parcels leaving the mail room.
Marking international post by hand is slow and untidy when there is a pile to get out. One press of this stamp puts the same red AIR MAIL heading on every envelope, which helps whoever sorts the outgoing tray separate overseas items from local ones.
The words are cut as outline letters, the open style Shiny use for a group of titles in this range such as COPY, DRAFT and APPROVED. The stamp is pre-inked, with a translucent blue top, grey base and a clear cover that fits over the die. Staedtler, who distribute Shiny in Australia, list Shiny 9SO-62 red as the refill ink.
A stamp only marks the item: postage and the service still need to be arranged with your carrier.
