FIMO gloss varnish 8704 01 BK is Staedtler's water-based gloss for FIMO and FIMOair work, in 35 ml jars on blistercards, and this listing is five cards, the unit Staedtler Australia sell it in.
Staedtler describe it as adding a glossy sheen while protecting the surface. It goes on milky and dries transparent, so the colours of the model show through. Their catalogue lists it as scratch resistant and odourless, touch dry in about 20 minutes, and their web page adds that it is lightfast.
It suits oven-hardened FIMO and also air-dried FIMOair, so one jar covers a mixed craft table. Use it on beads, charms and figures where a shine helps the colours pop, or on painted FIMOair where a sealed top layer stops colour rubbing off.
