Six Classic Colours Of Noris Jumbo Modelling Clay
Staedtler Noris jumbo 842 C6 is a cardboard box of 6 thick bars of modelling clay, 16.6 g each, in brown, blue, green, red, yellow and white.
These are the colours children reach for first: red for a ladybird, green for a frog, yellow for the sun, blue for water, brown for a tree trunk and white for clouds or eyes. Staedtler aim Noris jumbo at children in school and kindergarten. The clay keeps its form once modelled yet never goes hard, so a farmyard built today can be squashed and rebuilt tomorrow.
The colours can be blended, which turns the box into a first lesson in mixing: yellow and blue make green, red and white make pink. Staedtler state that 842 conforms to EN 71.
Noris jumbo also comes in neon (842F C6) and pastel (842P C6) boxes of six, which pair well with this one.
