Gold Liquid Gel For Accents And Bonding
FIMO liquid 8050-11 is a 50 ml bottle of oven-hardening liquid gel in gold, made to work with FIMO modelling clay as a glaze, a bonding layer and a decorative finish.
Staedtler describe FIMO liquid as having a thick, fluid consistency and a dosage tip for pinpoint application, so fine lines and small fills are easy to control. It bakes at 130°C for 20 minutes and is extremely flexible after hardening.
Uses Staedtler list for the gel include joining hardened and unhardened FIMO pieces, contouring and grouting, image transfer, glaze effects and marbled or graded colour mixes. In gold it brings a warm accent to beads, pendants, mosaics and ornaments.
It pairs with FIMO soft, FIMO effect and FIMO professional, and Staedtler note it can be used in bake-able silicone moulds.
