Liquid FIMO For Bonding, Glazing And Transfers
FIMO liquid 8050-00 is Staedtler's translucent oven-hardening gel in a 50 ml bottle, made to work alongside FIMO modelling clay rather than on its own.
It has a thick, fluid consistency and a fine dosage tip, so it can be placed exactly where it is needed. Staedtler list a wide set of jobs: bonding baked FIMO to unbaked FIMO, grouting mosaics, contouring, glazing a surface, and transferring images from prints, photocopies and pencil or graphite drawings onto clay.
It also goes into bake-able silicone moulds for clear shapes, like the petals on the daisy earrings in Staedtler's photo, and can be tinted by mixing in FIMO clay for marbled or graded colour. Once hardened at 130°C for 20 minutes it is extremely flexible, per Staedtler.
