Model A Paddock Of Ponies, Then Play With Them
FIMO kids 8034 08 LZ Pony is a Staedtler form and play set: four 42 g blocks of extra-soft oven-bake clay, a modelling stick, picture instructions and a meadow play scene in one box.
The four clay colours are white, brown, glitter gold and black, the same shades used for the horses on the lid: a dark pony with white spots, a brown horse with a golden mane and a spotted white foal. Knead, harden, play is how Staedtler put it: the child works through the booklet, the figures are baked, and then they stand on the printed playing surface with the cut-out templates and stickers for role play.
FIMO kids is an especially soft clay that small fingers can work without strain, and thirty minutes in the oven at 110°C sets the figures firm. Staedtler recommend the sets for ages 8 and over, and the box warns that use should be supervised by an adult.
For horse-mad kids who want more, see the wider FIMO range, single blocks in our modelling clay aisle and the educational craft section.
