Glitter Silver For Rockets, Robots And Armour
FIMO kids 8030-812 is Staedtler's glitter silver: a light grey clay full of sparkle, packed as a 42 g block that children shape by hand and harden in the oven.
Silver makes things look metallic and futuristic. It is the go-to colour for spaceships, robots, a knight's helmet and shield, cutlery for a doll's house and the scales on a fish. Staedtler use glitter silver in three form and play sets: Space, Mermaid and Oceanlife.
Pressing a few thin strips of silver onto a darker colour, such as black or blue, gives a model a finished, shiny look. The 8 scored portions of the block mean children only unwrap as much as the detail needs.
Harden models at 110°C for 30 minutes, as Staedtler direct.
