Light Grey For Koalas, Elephants And Stone Walls
FIMO kids 8030-80 is a quiet but useful light grey: a 42 g block of Staedtler children's modelling clay in 8 portions.
Grey gets picked for animals more than people expect. Koalas, elephants, mice, rabbits, seals and cats all start with it. It also makes rocks, pebbles, castle and bridge stones, and the road under a toy car. Staedtler put light grey in their Cat form and play set, alongside white, light brown and black.
Mixed with white it gives a softer silver grey; with a touch of black it turns to slate. The scored block breaks evenly, so a teacher can hand each child a single portion for a short activity.
Finished pieces harden in the oven at 110°C for 30 minutes.
