Brown Clay For Animals, Trees And Tiny Treats
FIMO kids 8030-7 is Staedtler's brown, a 42 g block of soft oven-bake clay that turns up in almost every child's model.
Brown is the colour of fur and wood. Children use it for the body of a puppy, a horse or a bear, for a tree trunk and its branches, for a fence around a farm, and for pretend chocolate cakes on a doll's tea table. Staedtler put a brown block in their Farm and Dino form and play sets, which tells you how often it gets used.
The block measures 55 x 55 x 10 mm in Staedtler's catalogue and is divided into 8 segments, so one pack covers several small animals. It is soft enough to roll into sausages for legs and tails without warming it first. For lighter fur or timber, blend in some white.
Bake finished pieces at 110°C for 30 minutes to harden them, as printed on the pack.
More colours in FIMO, plus craft modelling clay, art and craft supplies and the full Staedtler range.
