Orange Clay For Pumpkins, Goldfish And Foxes
FIMO kids 8030-4 is a bright orange, one 42 g block of the soft oven-bake modelling clay Staedtler make for children.
Orange is a warm, cheerful colour that kids use for carrots and pumpkins, oranges and apricots, goldfish, foxes, tigers with black stripes and the beak of a duck. It is also a good sunset colour next to yellow and red. Staedtler use orange in their Pets set together with white, brown and black.
Each block is scored into 8 portions and measures 55 x 55 x 10 mm, per Staedtler's catalogue, so it suits a single project at home or a small group at school. Blend it with yellow for a lighter apricot, or with red for a deep burnt orange.
Finish by baking at 110°C for 30 minutes.
