Glitter Blue For Night Skies, Waves And Ice
Staedtler FIMO kids 8030-312 is a glitter blue block: soft children's modelling clay in a mid blue with fine sparkles through it, 42 g in 8 portions.
Glitter blue is the colour for anything that should shimmer. Kids use it for a starry night sky, breaking waves, an ice palace or a frozen pond, and for the mane or tail of a magical horse. Staedtler chose it as one of the four colours in their Unicorn form and play set.
Because the sparkle sits inside the clay, small details such as stars, raindrops or fish scales still catch the light. Pair it with plain blue (8030-3) and white so a scene has calm areas next to bright ones.
Bake the finished model at 110°C for 30 minutes to make it hard.
