Sparkly Red Clay For Little Makers
FIMO kids 8030-212 is glitter red, a 42g block of Staedtler's soft oven-bake modelling clay made specifically for children, with fine sparkle running through the colour.
Red with glitter is the colour for hearts, ladybirds, Christmas baubles, strawberries, bows and superhero emblems. Because the sparkle is mixed into the clay, models shine without any extra glitter glue or mess on the table.
Staedtler describe FIMO kids as particularly soft for handling and shaping, so smaller hands can work it without a long warm-up. Each block is divided into 8 portions for easy blending and sharing between children, and the pack is easy to open.
Hardening is an adult's job: 30 minutes in the oven at 110°C. The age guide in Staedtler Australia's catalogue is 8+ years; Staedtler also state that FIMO kids conforms to EN 71 and is made in Germany.
