FIMO kids 8030-112 brings gold to a child's modelling box: a 42 g block of soft, glittering yellow gold clay from Staedtler that bakes hard in the oven.
Gold is for the special pieces. A king's crown, a pirate's pile of treasure coins, a trophy for a sports day, a star for the top of a tree or a bee's stripes all look better with a little glitter. Staedtler use glitter gold in their Pony and Dreamy pets sets.
Use it for small accents rather than whole models: break off one of the 8 portions and press thin pieces onto a base colour. Children can keep the remaining clay in the pack for the next project.
