A 454 g Block Of White For Big Batches And Heavy Mixing
FIMO soft 8021-0 is Staedtler's large block of white oven-bake clay, 454 g (1 lb) in one pack.
White is the colour that disappears fastest on a busy craft table, because it goes into almost every pastel and highlight. The large block suits studios and classes that tint white in quantity, makers producing runs of beads or charms, and bigger single pieces such as bowls, tiles and wall letters where a stack of small packs would be awkward.
Like the standard block it is scored into 8 portions, here much larger, so you can cut off a measured piece and leave the rest wrapped. Staedtler describe the clay as soft and smooth and list it as compatible with FIMO effect, FIMO leather-effect and FIMO professional.
Bake finished work at 110°C for 30 minutes per Staedtler. Staedtler Australia's catalogue lists five large-block colours: white, sunflower, indian red, pale pink and black.
