Tropical Green, Bright And Fresh
Staedtler FIMO soft 8020-53 in tropical green is a bright, fresh green oven-bake clay, packed as one 57 g standard block.
This is the everyday green for nature modelling: monstera and palm leaves, cactus and succulents, frogs, turtles and dinosaurs, lawn and garden beds, peas and lettuce on miniature plates. It is brighter than emerald and less yellow than apple green.
A lighter or darker leaf can be mixed quickly: add white or apple green for new growth, or a portion of emerald for shade. Staedtler divide the block into 8 portions for exactly this kind of blending and describe FIMO soft as easy to blend.
When modelling is done, bake at 110°C for 30 minutes. A FIMO cutter set makes neat leaves, and the FIMO tool set helps with veins.
