Cool Pastel Mint In A 57g FIMO Soft Block
FIMO 8020-505 is mint, a pale cool green sold by Staedtler as a 57g standard block of FIMO soft oven-bake modelling clay.
Mint is the fresh shade of a pastel palette. Use it for macaron and ice cream charms, succulent and cactus miniatures, leaves on a pastel bouquet or soft green beads, and set it beside peach, light pink or lilac for a classic spring mix on earrings and keyrings.
Mint was once packed under the FIMO effect pastel label; the second photo shows that earlier wrapper. Staedtler now list article 8020-505 as FIMO soft mint, sitting in a pastel row with vanilla, light pink, aqua, peach and lilac.
Staedtler aim FIMO soft at beginners and hobby makers: the clay is soft and smooth, and the block divides into 8 portions that make small mixes simple. A 30 minute bake at 110°C in a kitchen oven sets each piece. Any FIMO soft or FIMO professional colour can be blended in, and the country of manufacture Staedtler give is Germany.
