Indian Red: Bright, Warm Red Clay In A 57 g Block
FIMO soft 8020-24 is the colour Staedtler call indian red, a clear, warm red with a hint of orange, in the standard 57 g block.
It is the red for things that should look bright and cheerful: ladybirds and toadstool caps, ripe strawberries and tomatoes, poppies, fire engines and toy cars, red lips and cheeks on small figures. Staedtler's tile board starts the red row with indian red, ahead of christmas red and the cooler cherry red, with tangerine just above it.
The block comes in 8 portions. Blend a portion with tangerine for a coral, or with white for a warm salmon pink. Staedtler sell the same colour in the 454 g large block, 8021-24, for bigger projects.
FIMO soft is ready to use and hardens in a home oven at 110°C over 30 minutes, as Staedtler state. The wrapper is easy to open and reseal.
